Shipping and Postage
Finished items will be sent within 48 hours of purchase, and usually within 24 hours I will send items in the UK by recorded delivery, or Special Delivery. Overseas packages are sent tracked and signed for.
Returns and Exchanges
Whilst I try to ensure that you are delighted with any jewellery you buy from me, sometimes things can go wrong. If so, it is important that you contact me as soon as possible – I will always endeavour to sort out any problems in a reasonable manner. If it is evident that the piece had been damaged due to neglect or mishandling, I may be able to repair or create a new setting for the cabochon, but this will be charged for as a commission piece. I will not replace of refund for any pieces that have not been treated with care.
The Distance Selling Regulations state that your right to cancel an order starts the moment you place your order and doesn’t end until seven working days from the day after you receive your goods. Cancellation is not possible outside of this timeline unless agreed, in writing, beforehand.
It is important that you notify me of your intention to return an item. It is important that the item is returned with all packaging and ancillary items, unused. A fee may be charged for any items used or missing.
Pendants from Cabochons
The cancellation and returns period does not apply to pendants that are made from cabochons as these are classed as custom orders.
Reserving and Payment Plans
If you see an item that you particularly like, then I will hold this, pending payment, for 7 days. If after this time payment is not received I will relist the item. In exceptional circumstances, for items of high value I may consider a payment plan, whereby a 50% deposit is paid, and the balance is paid within one calendar month. In the event that the second payment is not made, then half of the deposit will be refunded immediately, the balance being retained for administration costs.
